AGBC(SE) Statement of Faith

AGBC(SE) - Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East)

The latest statement of teaching that each church must believe to join the Association was agreed in 1985.

This shows that we take:

• An orthodox view of the Trinity and the Two Natures of Christ.
• A Calvinistic view about how people are saved - The Doctrines of Grace.
• A Baptistic view of Church government - that is, the members run their own churches, not an outside body. This includes baptism of believers by immersion before becoming church members and taking communion.
• A Conservative Evangelical view of the Bible - inerrancy and verbal inspiration of the Old and New Testaments.
• A Conservative Evangelical view of Judgement - the return of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal punishment or bliss.
